- Well, some of us have fallen prey into the hands of some (I sabi take picture ) photographers ..Don't blame them, blame yourself you didn't do the needful research.... firstly ,hiring a photographer shouldn't be about how expensive his works go for .Secondly , you should have a good view of his works not the works uploaded on a social media it is possible he put his best work out....Weddings or any event requires attention to detail ,he should have eyes for everything going on around him ...... STEPS IN HIRING A PHOTOGRAPHER
- fix an appointment to go through his works, it is nice to have at least 3 photographers in mind.
- when satisfied talk about what you want, be creative!! also talk about his fee and negotiate don't forget you have a budget.
- when satisfied seal the deal with an invoice to prove it or fill a contract form.
- while filling the form make sure the date(s) are well stated and for brides if you'll like to have a
pre-wedding shoot and the number of camera's you'll love to have so your photographer can capture
all the happenings without leaving you. - some people like to owe the photographer a little percentage until they get their finished work while
some clients like to get it off their chest. all I'll say is let there be a binding agreement..
I hope I made a lot of sense just used a bit of my planning experience to save a soul.
